Bring David Hicks home rally

Hey everyone!

On Saturday the 9th of December, there will be a protest at Federation Square in Melbourne for the repatriation of David Hicks and the closure of Guantanamo Bay prison camp.

For those who don't know who David Hicks is, he is an Australian Citizen who allegedly served with the Taliban and Al Qaeda. He is currently being held without trial at Guantanamo Bay. December the 9th marks the fifth anniversary of David Hicks' time in Guantanamo Bay, which is why it has been chosen as a national day of protest - There will be protests held in other cities around Australia.

Thanks for the fave ... definitely agree with ur statement in the journal. The rally was mostly peaceful; on a handful of people that stuff them up. But they are the one that get the highlights in the media; since it sells to the market. BTW, it is not interesting to say that those environmentalist was actually cleaning up the mess on the road while they are dancing and raving in front of the cops. :D Does not sell. Geez. Dont believe everything u read on the media ... :)
